AI’m Lyn Bardwell, a senior in the Professional and Technical Writing and Editing program at Weber State University in Ogden, Utah.

I’m currently studying Content Managing and Single Sourcing. I just finished a class about integrating Web 2.0 technology (wikis, blogs, social networking) and business. Some other classes I’ve enjoyed are “Magazine Article Writing,” Squatting in front of water 1“Critical Approaches to Literature,” and “Children’s Literature.”

I hope to make a living as a writer or editor someday. But while raising my two beautiful boys, I wish to pursue only freelance, part-time, or work-from-home situations.

  1. Oh what a beautiful family Lyn! so happy to have met you at the Utah Bloggers social 🙂 Looking forward to following your blog! happy reading 🙂

  2. Hello, Lyn. We met at the Utah Bloggers picnic. I wrote Guest House, the novel with the red farmhouse on the cover. I really like your site and would welcome a guest blog from you. Topic is up to you—let me know if you’re interested. My blogs are most often about books, nature and human kindness. Have a look and see if you find an idea of yours that would fit. You could repost a blog you’ve already written. I usually post new blogs on Facebook as well.

    All the best!

    • What a fun challenge! Thank you for thinking of me. I’d be honored to guest-post. You have a lovely blog, by the way. I loved reading about your journey. You are brilliant to peddle your book among that crowd.

      • Great. Send the guest-post any old time! There’s a contact link on my website, if you’d like to send it that way. Or perhaps you can see my email address through this post form.

It really was heartening reading to truckers. And the tour certainly made the media folk take notice.

        Enjoy this beautiful September weather!
